STOP PRESS!!

I'm featured in this week's Latest Homes magazine!

A published article featuring my research and photography in gives an insight into the importance and interest of Medina House is available now throughout Brighton & Hove and online.

The spectacular tiling scheme of Medina House, 1894, decorated both the male and female bathing area of Hove Bath and Laundry Company (see photographs below - the surviving element was originally the female bathing pool).

The floor to ceiling faïence is not only stunning and in remarkable condition despite having been open to the sea winds and salty air for the last 10 years, but it is also important and significant as evidence of Hove's prolific history of salt water bathing and the prescribed medicinal benefits believed at the time.
